It has been about three weeks since I last signed on. Many family gatherings in the last little while, so I figured I would start off 2008 with a few photos from the holidays:
This is Malak, Nesrine's little cousin. She likes to dance whenever her uncle plays a certain song on his cell phone. Yes, it is adorable.

Fantastic news! George and Yinzee announced their engagement at my folks' house.
Nesrine' aunt, a devout Shia Muslim, just got back from the Hajj, and the family had a dinner in honour of her return. She had some amazing photos of the pilgrimage and was still in a bit of a daze. I guess it can be an overwhelming event and I'm not surprised that it takes a while to process the experience.
